About Me

Education

Michael Chukwuemeka Agwulonu hails from Aronta Mbutu, Aboh Mbaise LGA of Imo State, born and bred in Iwo, Osun State. He had his nursery and primary education at Caro Group of Schools, Iwo, Osun State between 2002 and 2011, after which he proceeded to Our Lady of Fatima Academy, Iwo, Osun State in the year 2011 where he acquired his SSCE results in 2017. The following year, he got admitted into the prestigious Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA), Ondo State where he is currently studying Civil and Environmental Engineering.

Membership

He is a student member of many professional bodies like; Nigerian Universities Engineering Students Association (NUESA), Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), Nigerian Institution Of Civil Engineers Students Affiliate (NICESA) National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), Nigerian Institute of Environmental Engineers Students’ Affiliate (NIEESA), Young Engineers Forum of Nigeria (YeFoN), Nigerian Institution of Safety Engineers (NISafetyE), amidst others. He is also a member of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) and the Young African Leaders Initiative Network (YALI Network).

Achievements and Certifications

Michael has overtime acquired certifications in Fundamentals of Digital Marketing (Google), Inbound Marketing (HubSpot Academy), Direct-Response Copywriting and Content Marketing (DigitalMarketer.com), Digital Skills: Social Media (FutureLearn Open University), Starting and Running a Business (YALI Network), Affiliate Marketing (eMarketing Institute), Web Development (Spantrix) and Fundamentals of SEO (SEMrush Academy). He has COVID-19 Courses completed from World Health Organization (WHO), Harvard Media School, and Muhammed Bin Rasheed University (MBRU) in Egypt. He is still developing his skill set to serve society better.

Through his digital experiences and impacts, he was awarded the top digital marketing strategist of the year 2020 by Jidekaiji Media, got featured in the Jidekaiji Global Magazine, nominated as the Best Social Media User by All Varieties Award (AVA), and was awarded as the Ambassador of the month October by Spantrix. He is currently a Brand Ambassador of Spantrix, Brand Ambassador of Beyondpapers Technologies, Campus Ambassador of International Model United Nations, and Campus Ambassador of Tecno.

Volunteering and Work Experiences

As the Lead Digital Marketing Strategist of iDigital Space, he has promoted a countless number of products and services using digital technologies, particularly the internet, and has worked for established businesses like Jidekaiji Media (a media company), Village Assist (a financial inclusive company), OFFERCentre Insititute of Agriculture (an agricultural institution), Cr8tive Solution (a digital agency), HiFlyers (an Edu-tech firm), Extramile Africa (a fin-tech company), Spantrix (a web technology company), Crystal Asset (a wealth management company), and so on. Due to his passion for growth, iDigital Space has been internationally accredited by AdWords Master, Sortlist, Agency Vista, and DesignRush.

Michael has presented in different digital and offline programmes – “Entrepreneur Meet and Greet Mastermind Academy” (Online) organized by Jidekaiji Media, where he presented on the ‘Generation of Leads using Compelling Contents and Online Presence’, “Boost Your Digital Innovation Skills” (Offline) organized by NFCs – FUTA Chapter, where he trained the participants on the effective management of social media platforms and the creation of one-page portfolio website and full-page website using a smartphone, “Entrepreneurship Development Initiative” (Offline) organized by OFFERCentre Institute of Agriculture, where he lectured the ‘TOTALpreneurial students and NETCOpreneurs on Business Growth’, “Marketing and Creation of Online Presence, Student Impact Program” (Offline), where he gave a presentation on the ‘Powerfulness of Determination and Dedication as a Student’, and “Skill Up with Your Smartphone” organized by Fidelis Concept, where he presented on ‘How To Effectively Engage In Market Research To Sell Your Products’.

He has over five years volunteering experience in different sectors, where he earned certifications from Spantrix, Jidekaiji Media, Beyond Papers, and Extramile Africa.  Michael has volunteered on the publicity of the pre-launching and launching of Spantrix Web Technological Company; he also volunteered on the social media cognizance of the programme tagged 'FUEL YOUR DREAM' organized by Extramile Africa; he volunteered on the publicity of a free 3-week Pan-African Webinar and Training in Python Programme organized by Beyondpapers Technologies; and he also volunteered on the moderation of the Entrepreneur Meet and Greet 1.0 organized by Jidekaiji Media.

Positions and Responsibilities

Michael Chukwuemeka Agwulonu is a man who has distinguished himself in students' unionism as he occupies different leadership positions at his tertiary level. He is currently serving as the Class Representative of his distinguished department, a role that placed the responsibility of leading in the smooth running of the students' affairs among his mates in the department and acting as the intermediary between the department as a whole, the school, and the students in his department. He is the also Chamber Proprietor of Daniels Chamber, FUTASU Bar Association. There, he advocates for the right of the students at the Federal University of Technology, Akure. He is currently the Chairman of the Skill and Entrepreneurial Acquisition Committee, South-west Zone of the Nigerian University Engineering Students Association (NUESA).

Inspirations and Interests

Michael Chukwuemeka Agwulonu is inspired by the books he read, the work he does, and the great set of people around him. He is strongly interested in Leadership, Business, Law, Voluntary Activities, and Entrepreneurship. He is a dynamic leader with a passion for harnessing quality thoughts for a better life and impact.
